Rochdale mens 1s entered the game on the back of two defeats and again missing several players through injury so the outlook was bleak as they welcomed Kirby Lonsdale to Oulder Hill.

This was not to be the case however as Rochdale started the game at a frightening pace and it was a matter of when, not if Rochdale would score which they soon did. But in reality Rochdale should have been out of sight, however they were guilty of missing two many chances never the less they went into half time 3-1 up after Kirby had pulled back a goal which had taken a nasty deflection to beat Jimmy DC in the Rochdale goal.

Rochdale continued the high press in the second half and added 2 more goals before the end of the game which finished 5-2 to Rochdale.

The returning Kieran King scoring a hat-trick, Adam Massey 1 and Andy Meanock 1. There was again tireless work from James Shepherd and Sean Carney in the middle however, this really was a team performance with several second team players stepping up and not looking out of place.
